Rental Agreement & Terms of Service

These terms govern your rental of reusable moving totes from RentATote (“we,” “us,” or “RentATote”). By submitting a reservation and checking the agreement box, you agree to the terms below.
1. Our service
RentATote rents sturdy, reusable plastic moving totes with lids, delivered to your door and picked up when your move is complete. Packages are Studio (10 totes, $69/week), Standard (20 totes, $99/week), and Family (30 totes, $149/week). We serve Middletown, Wilmington, Newark, New Castle, and Bear, Delaware, and nearby areas. Delivery and pickup within our service area are included in the package price.2. Rental period
The standard rental period is seven (7) days, beginning on the agreed delivery date and ending on the agreed pickup date. If you need more time, you may extend the rental for a flat fee of $49 by contacting us at hello@302rentatote.com before your scheduled pickup. Totes not picked up by the agreed date without an approved extension may be subject to additional fees.3. Delivery and pickup
We will deliver totes to the delivery address you provided and collect them from the pickup address on the agreed dates. You are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the totes at delivery and that all totes are packed, sealed, and accessible for pickup at the agreed time. If delivery or pickup cannot be completed because of an incorrect address, no access, or no one present, we may reschedule and a return-trip fee may apply.4. Care of the totes
You agree to use the totes only for moving and temporary storage of personal household or office items and to keep them in good condition. Please keep lids attached, do not overload totes beyond a comfortable carry weight, store them indoors, keep them clean and dry, and keep them away from chemicals, paint, and food that could stain or damage them. Do not alter, label with permanent adhesive, or repurpose the totes.5. Lost or damaged totes
You are responsible for returning all totes in usable condition. You will be charged a reasonable replacement cost for any tote that is not returned or is returned broken, cracked, or permanently stained. This amount is based on the actual cost of replacing the tote and is billed after pickup. Normal wear from ordinary moving use is not charged.6. Payment
Reservations are confirmed once your payment is received. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By paying, you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the package and any agreed add-ons, extensions, or replacement costs. Refunds, when applicable, follow our refund practice and are returned to the original payment method.7. Cancellations
You may cancel a reservation request at any time before a payment link is paid at no charge. Once payment is made, cancellation and any refund are handled according to our refund practice. Please contact hello@302rentatote.com as early as possible so we can adjust your reservation.8. Liability
The totes are provided “as is.” RentATote is not liable for damage to, or loss of, any items you place inside the totes or for damage to your property during packing, moving, or transport. You pack and move your belongings at your own risk. We recommend protecting fragile or valuable items with appropriate padding. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the rental.9. Your information
The information you provide when reserving (name, email, phone, addresses, and dates) is used to schedule and manage your rental. See our Privacy Policy for how we collect, use, and protect your information.10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you submit your reservation is the version that applies to your rental, and we record the version and date with your reservation.11. Contact
